Salam dear friends,
this is a simple reminder for all of us,
pls do pass this around okeyh?

ashura is on dis sunday, if im not mistaken (do check the calendar tau!)

***************

Because He loves you, He sends to you a lot of chances to be always close to him.. so sweet kan Allah

ONE OF THIS CHANCES...is this month " MUHARRAM "

Fasting in it is the best Fasting ever after Ramadan !!!

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of fasting after Ramadan is fasting Allah' month of Muharram." (Reported by Muslim).

Fasting one day (in anytime) makes you far from hell (AL-NARR) 70 years away!!!!! huhuhu, let's grab this chance..

Who will fast more ???? to get far away from Al- Narr...and get closer to our Lord :)

dear friends,
Our Homework in this month inshallah :)

1) Fasting every Monday , Thursday in this Month...STARTING FROM TOMORROW INSHALLAH

we will fast together tomorrow (Thursday) inshallah :)

2) Fasting the 3 white days 13,14,15

3)Fasting The day of Ashura (10th of Muharram) next Sunday...fasting this day expiate for the sins of the previous year---please alert! on this Sunday i suppose!

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

"For fasting the day of 'Ashura, I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before." [Reported by Muslim, 1976]

it is preferred to fast the 9th,10th,11th of Muharram not only the 10th

Inshallah fasting is not hard when you know it makes you closer to your Lord

Abu Hurayrah, may Allaah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said: “Every act of the son of Adam is for him, every good deed is multiplied in reward by seven hundred multiples; Allaah the Exalted and Majestic said: except fasting. It is (exclusively) meant for Me and I (alone) will reward it, he has abstained from food and drink, and sexual pleasures for My sake” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim].

Don't loose this Chance...Don't reject Allah's Gift !!!!

assalamualaikum...
nak kongsi sikit pasal puasa pada 9 Muharram...

1- Daripada Ibn Abbas r.a berkata (maksudnya): “Ketika Rasulullah saw berpuasa pada hari ‘Asyura, Baginda turut mengarahkan orang ramai supaya turut berpuasa. Lalu mereka berkata: Wahai Rasulullah! Sesungguhnya hari ini adalah hari yang dibesarkan oleh kaum Yahudi dan Nasrani. Lalu Rasulullah saw bersabda lagi: ((Sekiranya di tahun depan, jika diizinkan Allah, kita akan berpuasa pada hari ke-9)). Ibn Abbas berkata: Tidak sempat munculnya tahun hadapan, Rasulullah saw wafat terlebih dahulu.”. (Riwayat Imam Muslim)

2- Daripada Ibn Abbas r.a berkata, bahawa Rasulullah saw bersabda (maksudnya): ((Sekiranya aku masih hidup hingga tahun hadapan, nescaya aku pasti akan berpuasa pada hari ke-9)). (Riwayat Muslim).

(Rujuk: al-Minhaj syarh Sahih Muslim, Bab al-Siyam)

ermm...tapi xjmpa pasal 11 Muharram..:)
ada sapa2 tau ke?
